From the Playa, the view is a 55’ silver spaceship, a flat silver respite form the playa.. At night, these fore and aft decks glow from the interior lights. Towering over the fuselage, the observation deck is visible, floating above the spaceship.

Who’s at the control of this ship? You navigate the ship by dancing through space and time. DDR is the name of the game in the Cockpit. In our quieter moments, the cockpit doubles as a screening room.

The 40’ x 20’ fuselage offers shade, comfort and conversation. Is it happy hour? Have a drink with us. Is it time to dance? We can bring out the protected DJ booth and speakers in 5 minutes flat. The structure encloses a dance floor. This is the center of our world. The bar can double as a watering hole during the hot days, offering our guests easy access to water and fuel.

At the stern of the ship is the Queen’s Bedroom, designed like the Queen’s Bedroom from the movie. This is a private space for BBC to share the tenderest moments with the freaks we come upon. Comfort and privacy is the key to the Queen’s bedroom.

The observation deck is our link to The Man. Is the man Utopic? It’s your job to alert us. Is The Man hiding in his protective sheath? Early warnings are needed! The observation deck is outfitted with switches and levers, allowing you, our link to the playa and The Man to warn the crew of the spaceship of our Utopic or Dystopic future.

And inside the ship? Barbarella’s Bootcamp full of revelers - futuric fags, hopeful hags, luscious lesbians, and a whole crew’s worth of entertaining people - ready to carry other fortunate burners into Barbarella’s future!
